I’m thrilled to announce my upcoming fantasy novel, Heart of the Golem. I actually wrote it some time ago, but I thought I’d lost the file forever. Happily I found the file and was able to clean it up, so soon I’ll have it out for your reading pleasure.
This story started out as a background for a role playing character that I played once in college. The game master had us come up with a backstory for our characters, and she created the character sheet with the stats accordingly. That’s how I came up with Zisa, my golem.
I send the story to my cousin, Karrin, who fell in love with the character and came after me until I turned the short story into a novel. Thanks to Karrin for harassing me into writing my first novel, and for being my first reader. You are a wonderful human being.
